Elena Rivera-Cheek Featured on Own It Podcast Highlighting Women-Owned Agencies
Elena Rivera-Cheek, Founder and CEO of Copy & Art, was a featured guest on a recent episode of Own It. Own It is a podcast that highlights the stories of ad agency owners who are women. Interestingly, less than 1% of the 22,000 advertising agencies in North America are owned by women.
“It was a pleasure to share my story of building an ad agency over the last eleven years with the Own It audience,” said Elena Rivera-Cheek. “I didn’t realize how few woman-owned ad agencies are out there. I hope that my experiences can help women starting, or living, this journey,” added Rivera-Cheek.
Elena discussed a variety of topics, from the trajectory of her career through the copy side of healthcare advertising, to the impact of motherhood on her decision to create her agency, and the employee-focused culture that she has built at Copy & Art.
